East Chamber on Monday organize an awareness meeting on "IT crimes"
The East Chamber organized in collaboration with the communications and information technology on Monday (21/4/2014), sensitization on information security, in which the definition of computer related crimes control, comes this meeting which will be held at 10 AM in Chamber headquarters in Dammam one of the Chamber effort to ensure awareness campaign aimed at combating commercial fraud, protect society from crimes and acts of circumvention of the Web, on meeting the types of crime, ways of dealing with them, notably the leaking of confidential communications and dissemination, Identity theft, defamation, extortion, hacking websites, online fraud, and Chamber works to support and promote its objectives, recognizing the urgent need to make the community aware of the risks of computer related crimes, especially given the widespread usage of the Internet and its applications, as well as the prevalence of smart electronic devices that made the acquisition and handling is central in the life of society.
Participating in the meeting, Director General of the public relations and media spokesperson for communications and information technology Commission Sultan bin Mohammed Malik, a specialist in computer crimes in the communications and information technology Mohammad bin Khalaf Al-Ghamdi, a specialist in information security in communications and information technology Commission, Omar al-suhaibani said. The meeting will be held at the Sheikh Hamad Algosaibi, allocated the island Hall in the Chamber ground floor for ladies.
